Versatile!

I bought the silver locket first. I wore it everyday on a 9 day vacation. The adjustable chain makes it the perfect piece. I was able to layer other necklaces on some days and wear it stand alone on other days. I liked it so much, I just purchased it in gold.

Lovely and unique

I love the organic shape of the locket. I bought this during the anniversary sale and I've been wearing it consistently since it seems to go with just about everything. Have gotten a lot of compliments. One key feature is that the chain is adjustable which might not be obvious from the picture do the the way you can adjust the length by pulling the tab near the lobster clasp. Also looks beautiful layered with other Monica Vinader necklaces.

Very thin chain and locket is very thin

This was deceptive in the photo. The locket is thin and it opens in a strange way for a locket. Instead of opening like a book, the locket opens from the bottom and its vertical in how you see it. It seems very easy to break due to the way it opens. Add in how incredibly thin the locket is, it’s not fine jewelry but more cheap costume (and very fragile) jewelry. The chain is ridiculously tiny. I’m returning it immediately. Even with a sale price, it’s not worth it. I do not recommend this necklace and will look for a nicer locket.
