Spun Slipper (Men)

The Deer Stag Spun Slippers have the quality of slippers three times their cost. They are true to size. Warm and comfortable with the interior feeling like real fur. I have them on in the morning and nightly each day and the slipper has maintained its size not getting larger as they get more used. After trying many slippers I have found one i truly like.

About ten years ago, a few years after my daughter and I moved to Williamsburg, Brooklyn, I decided to lure her into walking across the Williamsburg Bridge to Manhattan. She was home from boarding school, and knowing her love of Chinese dumplings, I had the perfect enticement at my disposal. As what usually happens with first-time walkers, she became queasy as we approached the Manhattan tower, I gave her a bottle of cold water because that's the elixir, so she was again her merry self as we reached the bottom of the Bridge. I immediately spied a Payless Shoe store and my elitist self decided that we should see what they had. Well..!! I found a pair of slippers and decided to buy them. They were $10.00. I had the sales associate and manager in stitches going on about how I never thought I'd buy ANYTHING from Payless. They offered me a twenty percent discount for my good cheer. I have worn those slippers as shoes since as they are the perfect winter footwear - provided the ground is dry.... Winter's chill, no socks, and toasty feet suits me well. After ten years, I needed a replacement pair - and Payless has been, um, replaced (permanently...). These Deer Stags are the epitome of the perfect replacement. They're comfortable, sturdy, supple, and don't require an insole insert to give the sensation of walking barefoot on air.!! They do run small, though, so I'm glad that I didn't adhere to the manufacturer's advice that 'half-sizers' order up. So far, I've worn them with thick socks, and have wide feet, so definitely don't order up - but definitely order them.
