Alleluia!
I had developed Plantar Fasciitis from standing on my feet for 8 hours plus a day at work. My doctor told me to find a shoe made for "Professionals" who need a good support in a shoe. I did my research and found this pair.
I felt immediate relief on the first day of wearing them.
I bought a second pair in the classic clog style. I felt it was a good investment to do so!

shoe killed my feet
I have several pairs of Allegra‘s but I guess I never bought a pair that fit my whole entire foot always get it with the back off the pair that I bought the whole shoe I felt like my feet was bleeding and I had to work in them for 12 hours imagine that

A step up from a clog but too clunky
It did seem like it would be comfortable, but I couldn't get past the wide look from above - way too flinstone for me.

Doubly awesome in person
I purchased these shoes for my 73 year old mom whom I get a great pair of comfortable stand out shoes for Christmas every year. It's something she looks forward too each year. This year I was too busy to go shopping in the store but located these on another website and checked with Nordstrom's before purchase to see if they carry them (which I do with all products based on their premier customer service).
I instantly knew these shoes would be perfect for my mom and ordered them. When they arrived I LOVED THEM! The photos did not do them justice. I know she can wear them with many outfits - all 4 seasons.
I will be checking into the Alegria brand to purchase a pair for myself I'm so impressed.

Alegria 'Debra'
I really like the design. This is my second pair of Alegria shoes. I need a wide width in the toe area and have always bought Dansko shoes. I like the look of the Alegria shoes and it is nice to have a change. I have also received many complements on them.

Love my new shoes!!!
I'm on my feet all day (retail) so am always on the look out for cute and comfortable shoes. I saw Alegria's "Debra" Slip On in the Sugar Skull pattern and kept returning to the site featuring them. I'm kinda up there in age, but these shoes are SO cute and would definitely jazz up my work uniform. They are comfortable from the first time I wore them. I love them am on the look out for another pattern/design that I can't live without.
Because they are European, the sizing covers 2 of our American sizes. I wear size 8 but had to get the 8-8.5 size.

New Favorite!
These shoes are wonderful! I am a med-surg RN who works 12-hour shifts and my feet/knees/back feel it by the time I clock out. I was starting to have some serious back pain so I decided to splurge on some new work shoes and co-workers recommended Alegria to me. I am so glad I listened! After two shifts wearing these my back no longer hurt at all. The wider toe box is comfy and feels like you are wearing slippers, and the clog style isn't so high that it makes me roll my ankles like other popular clog-style shoes do. I also love the options as far as patterns go and get compliments on the sugar skull style I chose. I love them so much that I think I may buy the mary-jane style as well. No complaints!
