great day pack for hiking!
Went hiking for the day with this pack. It was perfect! Light weight, fit snug around my back and was the perfect size.

The redesign devalued this bag….
I LOVED the daylight sling I bought in December 2020. I used it as my daily purse, and wore it out. When I received the replacement I ordered, I was dismayed by the redesign. The dual zipper on the main pocket and the strap are the only truly convertible elements; the front pocket and the interior pockets are no longer visible/accessible while wearing the bag. I sincerely hope that Osprey reconsiders this design, and is willing to make changes to create a truly convertible bag (I have ideas!) or offer left *and* right handed versions instead. For now I guess I'll just be mad about it with my clean new bag and inconvenient ""sideways"" pockets. :(

amazing travel bag
Took this on a recent overseas trip and wore it every minute of my trip. It’s soooo functional. Perfect size (I’m a smaller woman). Got plenty of pockets and inner pockets too. Very comfortable to wear. Best thing I’ve ever bought for travel. Can be used for hiking as well.

Functional day pack
Bought this in cosmic red during the anniversary sale and love it so much. Yes the bag is on the smaller size - it is a sling bag so it’s not supposed to be big - but it’s just the right size for a day trip/ hike where you only need to carry the essentials (phone, card holder, small water bottle and room for a few other items you pick up along the way). I was worried about whether I’d like the sling/over one shoulder style and whether it’d be comfortable, but the extra padding around the shoulder strap works to alleviate any pain that I thought I’d have. Anyway love the bag and pop of red. Great buy during the anniversary sale and well worth the sale price.

Great except internal space
The interior shape and volume makes it difficult to carry more than 1-2 small items. Maybe a book or a bottle of water, but not both.
