Great rucksack for touring as
Great rucksack for touring as loads of pockets. Reasonably comfortable for a day hike & takes my hydration pack. In all, I’m really pleased with it.

Uncomfortable, with some awkward desgin features
Lots of good features on this bag, but the shoulder straps are comfortable, the carry handle design is poor, as is the front flap which flaps around unless you use the compression straps. These all let down what could have been a good product.

Ideal
This Day lite plus earth is exactly what I wanted for my mostly day excursions. It holds everything I need and is light enough to carry all day. Would fully recommend.

Lovely backpack.
I was looking for a smaller day pack having been using a 30l berghaus. I did lots of research and settled on this beaut. It is robust, light weight and well constructed with good deep side pockets. It holds a lot and with the extra stuff pouch at the front, good for carrying raincoat or top that is easy to grab.
My only gripe is that it doesn’t stand up on its own on the base. But it’s still early days and I’m sure over time it will mold to the way I want.
