Pavé Initial Pendant Necklace in Sterling Silver with Diamond

I have been looking for a good quality initial necklace for a while and when I came across this one on Nordstrom's website, I was excited as I own several pieces of David Yurman jewelry. Well, when I received the necklace, I was very disappointed to say the least. Although the size of the initial was fine, the sterling silver necklace it came with was not. It was supposed to be 18" with the extender and it barely hit 16"; plus the quality of the chain was lacking - very fine and flimsy, not at all like my other chains from DY. Sadly, I had to return the necklace, could not see spending $300 on such a poor quality item.

I purchased a David Yurman necklace expecting high quality, but unfortunately, it tarnished within just three weeks of light wear. For a brand that positions itself as luxury, this was extremely disappointing. The quality did not match the price point or the brand’s reputation. I ended up returning it and would not buy again. Save your money—there are better options out there with more reliable craftsmanship.

I’ve been wanting an initial pendant for some time now; the minute I saw this at my Nordstrom store I purchased it. I didn’t think anything of the chain as i have a thicker chain for the pendant to go on. Initially I did think to myself; why not sell the pendant separately at a lower price bc I don’t need the chain. I will most likely give it to my niece and I think she’ll love the chain. As for the pendant - reason for my low rating. It’s unhooked many times on me. Luckily I was able to catch it, find it on the floor, etc. I wish they had a way to secure the pendant a bit better. I find myself making sure it’s there everyday as I wear it 24/7 wo taking it off.
