Men's Box Chain Necklace in Silver, 3.6mm

I bought this as a birthday gift. My boyfriend wore it continuously from the time he got it. The first necklace turned black within 3 days, the second one, which is in the photos, turned black after a couple of weeks. He only wears sterling silver jewelry and always keeps on his necklaces and they’ve never turned like this. I know when you don’t wear silver for a while it will turn. But this was not the case. For the money spent and the reputation of David Yurman, I expected better quality. Very disappointing. What’s really crazy is that most of the negative one word display names have already been used.

I bought this necklace and the tree of life pendant. All together I spent probably around $700. The necklace arrived in a plastic bag and inside was a cheap broken box. I was so disappointed. This was supposed to be a present for my boyfriend and it looked like I bought it at the dollar store. I called customer service, they said they can’t really help. They do not have branded boxes. They offered me to call back at a different time and see if the different jewelry departments have a better option for me. I did not like the solution, because I think I should have better options for that price tag. Honestly, I would just say DON’T BUY IT FROM NORDSTROM! Saks has the same points system, great customer service and much better presentation.
