Darla Half Zip Sweater

The top does not hang straight like the picture shows, but has a band that makes it hit above the waist. Too short for me. If you are short waisted or want to show your bb may work for you.

The sweater is incredibly soft and the quality is excellent, but it runs much smaller than other Varley sweaters I've purchased. For reference, I typically wear a size 4–6. I usually size up in sweaters because I prefer a more relaxed fit, and with my last Varley sweater I actually had to size down to an XS. After reading reviews that this style ran small, I ordered a Small, but it was still too fitted. I would have needed at least a Medium—possibly even a Large—for the fit I was looking for. The banded hem was also quite snug and hit at an awkward spot on my hips. I think the sweater would be much more flattering if the bottom band had a little more stretch or was less fitted.

Color is lighter than the picture, but keeping it. Also runs a bit smaller than my other Varley purchases.

Sweater feels high quality. I'm short waisted, 5'4" and 135 lbs and the small actually feels a little too small for me. I'm debating if I will try to exchange for a larger size or not. Wish I could've tried on it store and compare to a medium. It feels a bit short and definitely not loose on me.

I love Varley and this piece is not exception, the fabric is super soft and love that it works well with a layer underneath and honestly could probably go with just a nude bra. The length is great and love the grey color.

Bought a cream one during the sale and decided I needed a black one too. They are a little on the short side, but love the collar flipped up. Fun sweater and not pricey! Recommend!
