Tiffani Wedge Pump (Women)

I bought these to replace an almost identical pair that I've been wearing for 7+ years. I was very sad to discover that the buckle on this pair is fake and for looks only - the actual closure is velcro. This is a problem for me since I use them for lots and lots and LOTS of walking, and velcro opens the door to losing the shoe or not appropriately supporting the ankles in a twist off a curb etc. (My last pair stayed on no matter what I threw at them). So while these won't work as intended - for my next seven year shoe - I decided to keep them anyway because they look very nice, are super comfortable, and have the magic property of being able to be worn with dresses without having to get a pedicure (I mean who wants a pedicure in the days of monkeypox? No thank you!) I wear a size 9 US and got the 39 in these and they fit perfectly. If the buckle were "real" I would give this five stars.

I just love the look of these shoes. I got them in tan to wear with my summer dresses. They are comfortable in so many ways, but they have a particularly unnecessarily high and hard arch. I keep trying them on and have decided to keep them, but I hope I will love them after wearing them for longer periods of time. Also, I hope the velcro closing will not look shabby in time.

I have a need for a lot of arch support, and these shoes are very comfortable for me. I purchased these in the light tan color, and I like them so much I'm going back to get them in black as well. I have somewhat narrow feet and normally wear a size 8; I purchased the size 7.5/8 and they fit perfectly. The strap is adjustable, but note that it is in fact a velcro closure. The buckle looks legitimate, but it is ornamental. These shoes are great for working in an office or going out for brunch or dinner.
