'Professional' Clog

Bought these in a 40 Eu since the 41 I had recently purchased from another store felt too large when I finally got around to wearing them. Unfortunately, the 40 was not comfortable either. I used to wear Dansko clogs all the time -- maybe 10-15 years ago -- and loved them. Did some research online and found out that Dansko parted company from its manufacturer (Sanita) in 2007 and now Dansko clogs are made in China and that many others seem to have had problems with the fit and consistency of fit from pair to pair in the same size. Followed the advice of several online commenters and ordered a pair of Sanita clogs in a 40 Eu -- in brown because I could not find the beautiful espresso color that the Danskos come in. The Sanitas fit -- just like Dansko used to. The brown is fine, but not what I really wanted. Will not go back to Dansko, though, until they address their manufacturing and fit problems.

I bought this style about a year ago. I wear them at least four times a week for work and pleasure, and they still look almost new. The sole shows no wear despite all the use they get. I generally wear US 9M or 9.5M; I purchased this Dansko style in 40EU and they fit perfectly. I found the shoes to be comfortable since Day 1--no breaking in required in my case. The black and grey design goes great with dress slacks and jeans. I am extremely pleased with the shoes and will definitely repurchase.

Great shoes for when you're on your feet all day long. I have a high arch, the medium width shoes dug into the top of my foot and never stretched out. So I decided to try the wide and they fit great, no more pain at the top of my foot! I also buy up one size because they run a bit small. They may stretch a little, but not enough to be loose in the heal.

When I first started teaching, my feet killed me. I noticed that a lot of teachers wore Danskos, so I thought I better try them out. The price almost floored me -- esp as a brand new teacher. The verdict? Although I've owned multiple pairs of Dansko sandals in the intervening years, I've worn that first pair of professional clogs for thirteen years now -- and wear them on a daily basis through the late fall and winter. Durable, comfortable, versatile, classy -- and perfect for my high arches.
