Sophia Ryan Petite Diamond Pendant Necklace

So the picture of this necklace are very good. Normally, Nordstrom.com offers more photos that will show the length of the necklace. Not for this one! I am definitely disappointed. My S.O. and I picked this out together for my Christmas present. Besides the fact that the order took so long to be fulfilled, and our first order was cancelled outright by out closest store, it was just really disheartening to finally recieve an item that is not worth the money.

I saw this on the website and figured it would be a good Christmas gift for my mom. Thankfully they didn’t wrap it like I had asked. I opened the box to check it out (ordered it online for curbside pickup) and was dismayed. The charm is smaller than a grain of rice and the necklace itself is extremely thin and dainty. As you can see from my photos, the clasp is much larger than the actual charm. For a second I thought the charm wasn’t attached! I know it’s called a “Petite” necklace but this would look tiny even on an infant. On the plus side, curbside pickup is extremely convenient and the gentleman that brought my order out was extremely polite.

This is probably the silliest piece I’ve ever bought anywhere. Has nothing to do with Nordstrom. I just wish they wouldn’t sell it anymore. If you’re buying it for a young teen or young girl, the chain alone won’t last long. If you’re buying for yourself or for a friend, you’ll struggle to even find the “pendant” on the chain. Look under Nordstrom’s Bony Levy instead.
