Signature Legend Coated Canvas Tote

I purchased the Legend tote in Bleecker Blush in late August of 2019 and was very happy with it—it is beautiful and functional and appeared to be well-constructed. After 3-4 months of daily use, however, the coating on the straps has started to peel. This is unacceptable for a $200-$300 bag. It is only a few months old now but looks several years old. I will be switching brands when I am back in the market for a new work bag.

I love this bag and brand. I purchased this to fit my 15" laptop. I love how it has so many pouches to allow optimal organization without having to purchase a bag organizer. My favorite things are the water bottle holder (can fit a 32oz HydroFlask/Nalgene) and the key leash. The coated canvas is very sturdy, looks similar to saffiano leather, scratch proof, and can easily be cleaned. The only downsides are that it can get pretty heavy after adding a laptop and water bottle (the bag itself is 3.4lbs) and the handles don't fold down. The handle drop is pretty large, too, so it doesn't allow for easy storage underneath an airplane seat. Also I wish it came with a crossbody strap, although I do understand why it doesn't come with one. Having a slim crossbody strap with a bag that large and heavy would be uncomfortable, but it would be a nice addition in case the situation calls for using it. As for the heaviness issue, I don't think it would be an issue for those who drive to work or don't have to walk long distances to get to their destination. Overall, the bag is professional, classic, gorgeous, functional, and sturdy! Highly recommend!

I love this bag. It killed me to return it. It would not hold my 15 inch Macbook Pro in the computer sleeve. I seriously considered keeping it and carrying my laptop in the main compartment, but that seemed to defeat the purpose. This bag is a very nice size, has many wonderful organizing pockets, and a really cool water bottle holder. If you have a 13 inch laptop, I completely recommend it.

Beautiful, professional looking bag. This bag is great for commuting on public transit: fits your laptop (my 15" laptop fit easily), water bottle, walking shoes, notebook, with room to spare that can all be zipped up for security. What makes it even better is that the interior organization keeps everything in it's place and easy to find. The key leash is extra convenient. The exterior is pretty scratch proof and can be easily wiped down. The exterior D-rings are not for a cross-body strap, they are more decorative for things like bag charms. I also love that the bag is structured and doesn't flop over when you're trying to load/unload it. For someone that craves organization and function, this bag is just perfect.

I thought I wanted the Alyn tote ad was waiting for it to come back in stock. When it did I knew it wasn’t the bag for me. The Signature Legend tote is structured, has a zipper to close the bag, and lots of space to replace my backpack. I have my 14” laptop, iPad, a bound notebook, my kindle paperwhite, iPhone Plus, wireless headphones case, a pouch for my cords, an umbrella, and still have so much room for more. I travel a lot for work and this bag is beautiful, structured, nicely organized, and I’m so happy with the purchase. I do wish there was a pocket on the outside but that wasn’t a deal breaker.

I loved this bag when I got it for Christmas last year (Dec. 2019). The size was perfect for work travel, fit my small laptop and folder, water bottle, etc., however after using predominately for my work trips the handles are all ripping. This is not acceptable at this price point, in my opinion.
