Safety features: The chest clip provides safety alerts to a vehicle receiver and the caregiver's smartphone. The Linear Side-Impact Protection (L.S.P.) System help absorb impact forces, while the adjustable headrest allows the seat to grow with your child. The included SafeLock Base features an antirebound design and a load leg for additional safety.

Harness: Five-point safety harness with integrated harness guides.

Car installation: Indicators change from red to green when the car seat is locked into the base and the load leg is properly installed. One-hand release buttons allow for easy removal of the car seat from the base, and a Dual Level Indicator ensures properly angled recline. European belt routing provides safe installation in a car or taxi without a car seat base. A unique belt tensioning system offers simple and secure installation when using either the innovative on-pull LATCH system or vehicle seat belts.

Stroller compatibility: Compatible with CYBEX and gb strollers as well as with other select brands (strollers sold separately).

Not worth it.
For our 1st baby we had the cybex car seat. Didn’t upgrade bought the standard one, and we had no problem loved it. With this baby we bought this one and we hate it. Wish I can return it but is been 6 months. As we only used it when we brought baby home and started to use it more often in the past 2-3 months, we hate it. We can never put in the car on the first try! And to put in from stroller to the car is a…… super difficult. The more we struggle we ask we never had this much problems when we had our first. Maybe thought it was us. BUT nope others too have difficulty. Like why is it so hard. You have to hug the car seat press the 2 buttons on each side at the same time to unhook it. Then maneuver it to the car to then move it up and down until you locate it perfectly to click.

Super!!!
I did a little research when looking for the seat that I wanted for my baby. I had bought a stroller that only was compatible with 3 brands of infant seats. This was the most reasonably priced with great safety features. My son loves it so far. It is a little heavy with my son inside, but it isn’t as heavy as others. As far as the base not clicking, I haven’t had that happen yet in the two months we have been using it. Getting the base in was a bit of a challenge ((pretty sure all car seat bases have a learning curve)), but once it was in, it is very easy to get in and out of the car. The aesthetics of the seat are definitely top notch and compete with other more popular, fancy brands. Looking forward to upgrading to an all-in-one seat from Cybex when baby grows out of this one. Base needs improvements.
This seat Is still seating brand new because my baby was already close to 20 pounds when I got it as a replacement for the model without the sensor safe. Although the seat is beautiful and soft and feels safe, I hate how heavy it is even without the baby in it if this chair has the same problem with clicking into base I literally had to wiggle the back of the car seat in and put so much strength into making in click in it literally hurt my shoulder. Also made the base move around so much I had to completely take the base off and use the European belt method to strap my baby which is not convenient when you have to use the seat multiple times a day. The heaviness I could live with but a moving base and all the effort it takes to click in was not worth all the beauty of the seat I’ve had cheaper seats that don’t have a problem clicking it and that’s huge to me I want to make sure my baby is safe and secure and it was a hard to feel like that with this seat. I would choose a different seat if I ever have to get another infant seat. I tried to get a convertible seat instead of this one even if it was a little money but you guys said I had to get the same seat but I have no use of it so it’s still sitting brand new.
