What it is: An extreme strong hold styling gel that provides long-lasting definition, humidity protection and shine fro all curls.
Who it's for: Ideal for all hair types, especially those with medium to coarse thickness.
What it does: The Fixer is not for the faint of heart. This gel will lock your curls in a super strong hold which will provide extreme definition, long-lasting frizz control and weather protection for your curls. It does create a strong cast while drying which will feel crunchy to the touch, but this is only temporary. Once the hair is fully dry you just need to scrunch out the crunch with a little bit of oil to make your curls soft and bouncy again.
How to use: Rub the product between your hands and apply on soaking wet hair with the 'prayer hands' method, smoothing from top to ends. Flip your head upside down and scrunch gently with upwards motions to encourage curl to spring back and form their pattern.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this gel! It has a good hold, without feeling sticky or crunchy, and really helps define my type 3c curls. You don't need a lot, and doesn't seem to weigh hair down, which is great when you have fine curls!

On balance, a great product
Great product that holds my curls all day without frizz. I’ve been using it for at least a year. Has anyone else noticed lately (my last 2 or 3 bottles) that there are solid little pieces in the product? They weren’t there in past bottles. Sometimes they clog the opening and that gets frustrating. I love the product, but don’t love those little pieces.

Life-changing! Controls frizz for longer but it becomes sticky on hands. I'll buy again.

An Unexpected Miracle
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3b low porosity/low density curls that have been my arch nemesis for years. I'm never satisfied with how they look super defined and producty OR with lighter creams that don't define and look greasy. It's been a battle. The In-Shower Style Fixer is AMAZING for my hair!!! I apply this (and only this - no leave-in) to damp hair - NOT soaking wet and apply barely a pea-size amount to each of four sections. I air dry and actually get a cast!! The ever-elusive cast! Once dry and scrunched, my curls are defined, soft and don't feel gunky with product! I feel like I've finally found my Holy Grail and finally feel confident with my curls. Thank you, Curlsmith!
