Crewneck Organic Linen & Organic Cotton Sweater

I like the sweater but the color is so off from that shown online. It looks like a silvery gray (greige) online from several different computers but it's very tan/taupe in person. I do like the sweater, it's very lightweight for summer and the banding at the waist allows for a nice drape but I took away one star due to the color variation and also the sizing. I'm usually a small in most sweaters, sometimes a medium, and had to size down to an XX-Small for a fit that didn't look frumpy. Eileen Fisher runs large in general I think so I knew to size down but I would suggest sizing down at least two sizes from your other brands unless you want a very baggy look. I still recommend purchasing this sweater and I actually ordered both the black and the white from Eileen Fisher directly as it was sold out at Nordstrom. The white is somewhat sheer but not enough to require a layering piece underneath.

This is a surprisingly lovely sweater. It definitely looks better on than it does folded on the table in the store, where I almost overlooked it. I picked it up because I needed a short top to try on with pants and I ended up buying the top and not the pants. It’s soft and has a nice drape and the band at the bottom is firm enough that the sweater doesn’t just hang —you can pull it up a little bit and have it drape. I bought it in the beige color. I think it runs a bit large.
