Women's 3-Piece Fragrance Set $300 Value

I recently tested a perfume in-store and really liked it, but the size I wanted wasn’t available for immediate purchase. The sales representative helped me place an online order for it. When the perfume arrived, I was surprised to find that it smelled different than what I remembered—it didn’t last as long, and the scent seemed off. I trusted my instincts and brought the bottle back to the store to compare and get clarity. The Creed representative took the time to examine it and even involved a colleague. Together, they confirmed that the color was noticeably different and agreed that the scent didn’t match the in-store version. It was disappointing and frustrating to realize I hadn’t received the product I had paid for. I then spoke with a manager, who offered a refund or exchange, but only “as a one-time accommodation.” What shocked me most was the implication that she wasn’t sure if the bottle I brought in was even the one I had purchased from Nordstrom. That accusation felt both uncalled for and disrespectful. I invested my time to resolve this issue in person, only to be met with doubt and an uncomfortable conversation—on top of receiving a product that clearly didn’t meet the standards of the brand. This experience was far from what I expected from a luxury retailer. When customers are paying premium prices, quality control and customer service must reflect that. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that future customers don’t go through the same experience.
