Honeycomb Organic Cotton Blanket

I ordered the blanket in shadow (queen-size). I thought the texture was nice, though more like a quilt. I do like this organic brand (their towels are good), but I ended up returning the blanket because the color was unevenly dyed. It was too noticeable and inconsistent for me, with large patches in a lighter tone than other areas of the blanket. I am not sure if that is normal for organic bedding or not. At the price, I thought quality of the color would be uniform. I also experienced the same issue of inconsistent color on bedsheets made by this brand and also sent those back.

First of all, this seems like a lovely blanket. The weave is tight & does not appear like it would be likely to pull easily The negative for me was the color. I was looking for a blanket that would be close to black in color. This blanket, to me, appears to have muted brownish green tones to it.

I love this blanket. I purchased it in both a Queen, color White and Twin, color Natural. The Twin is in a guest room and has gotten less use and laundering. The Queen blanket is a lovely quality, has retained its shape, color and texture. The body of the blanket shows no wear and tear after many washings. However, the binding completely frayed. I have a friend who is an excellent seamstress and she created and sewed new binding on the blanket for me; this new binding is holding up and looks beautiful as thought it was meant to be part of the blanket. Therefore, I can now continue to use this blanket for years. So, I'm happy I have this blanket but would not recommend or purchase again based on the quality of the original binding.
