300 Thread Count Organic Cotton Percale Sheet Set

I have two sets of Coyuchi ‘organic crinkled percale’ sheet sets, and I love them. Immediately, they were soft, snuggly, warm. Unfortunately, those sheet sets were out of stock in my preferred color - although now as I look at the website, that appears to be no longer true - so I purchased a set of the ‘refined organic percale’ sheets instead. Oh, how I dislike them! They aren’t soft or softening after 3 washes; they aren’t warm - I, who sleep best when my feet are cold, had to put on socks to prevent frostbite under these sheets; the sheets are loud - their stiffness rubs noisily against the other sheet, the pillow, my head; and worst, they are annoyingly itchy - like sleeping with a severe case of dry skin even when I don’t have one. Maybe the crinkled percale spoiled me, and I’m expecting too much of a different material. I just know I’m going to have many sleepless, fitful nights if I keep this refined organic sheet set on my bed.
