Red is not as vibrant as shown

This is a heavy, quality sweater. I ordered the red in a medium (normally size 8) because I am looking for the deep vibrant red shown in the picture. In reality, it is rather a washed out red. The medium fits very close to the body, but the shoulders are cut broadly enough. I will probably reorder in the Navy.
