It’s a shirt, it’s a jacket, it’s super plain!
This is the type of item that one says, now why didn’t I think of this? It’s so simple, yet so versatile. This can be worn as shown, a cropped shirt, blah blah blah. I see it as a crop shirt jacket for summer or warm evenings when a sweater or thicker jacket is too much. For a twinset look, pair it with a basic black tank underneath + any contrast color pants or skirt. Or wear it as a very light layer over a sleeveless dress. Buy it a size or two larger for ease.
