Allpa 35L Travel Pack

My daughter and I are going to travel in Vietnam and Thailand. I had another pack I was going to use but after I saw her Cotopaxi pack and compared it to several other brands I knew Cotopaxi was the one for me. I like the 35 L size for all of the different modes of travel we will do. It is water resistant and opens up fully for better access in hostels. I initially wanted the blue toned one but since she already had that color and we didn't want to have exactly the same pack I went with Fig and I love it.

This is an incredibly practical bag designed thoughtfully. Honestly - if you are packing for an active vacation or work trip this is the only pack you should consider.

I purchased the Cotopaxi Allpa 35L Travel Pack for an upcoming safari in Africa, and I’m already so impressed with it. As a chronic overpacker, I knew I needed something that would help me pack smarter while meeting the very strict size and weight limits for the small bush planes we’ll be taking. I love the suitcase-style opening and all of the organization inside. Everything has its place, and I can easily see and access what I’ve packed without digging through the entire bag. The construction feels very durable, and I also appreciate the water-resistant design—especially for a trip like this. It’s surprisingly comfortable to carry, with several different carrying options. I especially like that the backpack straps tuck away neatly when I’m not using them, which gives the bag a much cleaner profile and makes it easier to handle while traveling. Another huge advantage is that I can use the Allpa 35L as my carry-on for our international flights and then continue using it on the smaller planes once we’re in Africa. On our last trip to Africa, our checked luggage was lost, so being able to keep everything I really need with me this time gives me some extra peace of mind. I think this bag is going to make traveling lighter—and staying organized—so much easier. If it can turn this chronic overpacker into a carry-on safari traveler, that may be its greatest accomplishment!

I got this pack for camping and I also have a beach trip coming up can’t wait to try it out!

I haven’t taken it on a trip yet but the compartments are great for separation and it’s very comfortable with the chest and waist straps

This bag is almost like a mullet with the rugged business outside and the party inside. It's water proof and sleek enough to fit under a seat but is so much more sophisticated inside with easy-to-find pockets for technology and work clothes. Everything stayed unwrinkled, and I could easily pack and unpack because the pockets made sense. I've been doing small trips recently that include lots of different kinds of fun and responsibility. I was most concerned about my ability to put it on my back with less pain than a traditional backpack and found that the chest and hip straps really distribute weight in a more ergonomic way. I can't wait to use it when I travel to Iceland in early 2027 to see the Northern Lights.
