Chuck Taylor^® Shoreline Sneaker (Women)

I wanted some converse for going to the park or running errands so I tried on the classic ones at nordies rack. I don't think I have big feet especially for my height, I usually wear a 9 sometimes an 8.5. I did feel like the classic converse made my feet look a bit big though, like boats. I saw these online and figured they'd look smaller since the top part is a bit lower, and they do! I got them in cloud grey and they go with everything. Capris, pants, shorts, everything! I love that even though they're a slip-on shoe they still have laces. Converse tend to run big so that's why I went half a size down, even though they have a scrunched back they're just right. I just used the sizing guide they have for this shoe, answered a couple questions and it recommended the perfect size and it was the perfect size. I bought some of the HUE socks that are completely hidden to go with them, and it's perfect. They do run a but narrow so I wouldn't recommend with a wide foot, but medium and narrow are good. They're just as comfy as any other converse. I've worn them several times already and the only tiny problem I had is that when I take them off I have a slight mark on the top of my foot but I think they just need to be worn in a bit more and they'll be perfect. Bottom line, I love these and I'l probably get more colors! They're my mommy shoes :)

I wanted to love these shoes, they look so cute on -- but they would not stay on my foot. As soon as I took one step, they flopped right off the heel. I tried them in 3 different sizes, and they all did it. I have narrow feet, but I don't think my heels are so narrow that they wouldn't stay on for even one step. I think they need to come up higher in the back or fit more snugly. I would love this exact look and profile (regular Converse make my feet look huge) without the weird fit in the back.
