Comme des Garçons

Headed by iconoclastic designer Rei Kawakubo, Comme des Garçons has pioneered the creation of avant-garde womenswear since the label's runway debut in 1981. Renowned for their groundbreaking explorations of "in-betweenness," Comme des Garçons styles consistently reflect and challenge dualities like East/West, male/female and past/present in ways that are both striking and thought-provoking.
