Whisper Tank

I compared this Commando Whisper Tank with Halogen No Show camisole. They looked like similar products online, and they looked similar in person in terms of fabric. After trying them both under a very lightweight and slightly too-sheer knit top, this Commando Tank won by a landslide. It is more intelligently designed for my purposes. I ordered both in the smallest size (size S), because I typically wear size XS in tops (size 32B bra, 5'2" 107 lbs). The Halogen No Show camisole fit me with a slight cling, while this Commando Tank is body skimming but with no cling, slightly loose. I thought that the relative looseness would look baggy as a layer, but the opposite is true--the effect is sleek so that no lumps or bumps show through, plus the plain tank straps smooth over my bra straps. In comparison, the cling of the Halogen camisole seemed to emphasize bulges, and the thin adjustable camisole straps multiplied the bra strap effect. I love how the Commando Tank does not have a hemmed bottom, so that it doesn't show through when tucked into dressy trousers. The fabric is thin enough not to add bulk and sleek enough so that other layers do not cling. It seems well-made.
