Semi Opaque 35 Denier Tights

I had high hopes for these tights. They do have a nice smooth feel and a dressier look for evening. They also have a nice high waist, but they don’t hold up well to wear. The first day I wore them, they snagged and got a set of holes at the snag. I had to scrap them after just one wearing.

These tights are pricier than ones I would normally buy at H&M or forever 21, however, they stand the test of time! I’ve worn them numerous times, put them through numerous washes (machine and dryer) and still no snags or runs. They don’t have a super tight control top, but the band is thicker so it doesn’t cut into you at all.

These will be a life changer for me! I wear tights anywhere between 3 and 5 days a week at work and I am sick of drugstore tights/nylons digging into my stomach. At the end of the day I usually have a stomach ache and feel horrible after wearing poor quality tights. I did some research into the best and most comfortable tights for professionals and these were among the top choices. Yes, they are pricey and the thought of snagging them makes me want to cry but the comfort and pain-free days are soooo worth it.

First - apparently Nordstrom won't let me put an apostrophe in the title (I've).... stupid. Anyway! These are hands down the best tights I've ever worn! I've been wearing tights for 15+ years. I was so fed up with tights into me all day - In the crotch, in the thighs, in the waist, etc. These were definitely a splurge with the price but they are work every penny! They are SO soft and the waistband feels like it's barely there - almost like a high-waist legging comfort. As for the quality, some of the other comments I read said they "ripped" right away. I've been wearing the same pair of tights almost every day for 2 months. I've washed them multi times (gentle & hang dry) and they are holding up great. Like ANY tights - you need to be gentle with them or they WILL rip! I will say there are a couple of spots that are pilling a little (like around where my shoes rub - I wear boots with them usually). Nothing a pill shaver can't fix. I am 5'7, 155 lbs and I ordered a size XL according to their size charge. I usually wear a large/size 10 so you might need to size up from your normal size according to their size chart. Again, these are worth the splurge and I will be ordering more!
