7/8 Faux Leather Control Leggings

I saw both the Commando and Spanx leggings on sale for the Anniversary sale and had some difficulty deciding which one I should get. I went to the store to do a comparison. The Spanx ones are for sure more comfortable, especially upon first wear since the fabric is very similar to that of an athletic legging (very casual). These Commando ones take some elbow grease to get on, even if you purchased the correct size for the first (few) wears. But they say it should mold to your body over time so we'll see! For me, it does fit snug especially in the thigh area (I currently have some extra thigh fat). I went with these because I was really going for the leather look, so if you would like a pair of faux leather leggings that resemble real leather, then this is hands down the winner of the two. The Spanx ones look more like the "liquid" metallic leggings rather than leather and look very casual. I heard the coating comes off easily as well. These Commando ones have a sexier, edgier, and dressier appearance. I think they are true to size. I'm usually a size S in leggings (26" waist) and these currently give me a snug fit. Also the 7/8 length is perfection for a petite person like myself (I'm 5'4"ish). Long enough (ends right at the ankle) and none of the dreaded bunching at all. Only time will tell how these fit and if they hold up! I am happy with them so far!
