Cute suit but no need to size up

I sized up as recommended in the item description but I shouldn’t have. I’m normally an 8 swimsuits, size 4 pants, 36D, 130-ish lbs. This suit is very cute, but it was a little loose in the bottom half for me. It also has gathering/ruching on the sides of the bust, which I didn’t find very flattering. I wish they didn’t gather the fabric there. But it was flattering through the midsection. I may try my usual size 8 and see how that works.
