Heavenly Water Resistant Insulated Coat

I am so confused by this coat- is it supposed to make you COLDER? I was so excited to get a good-dog walking coat now that I moved to a really cold climate and and went out in 34 degree weather and had to take it off because I was so cold- I was actually warmer taking it off. Am I missing something here? The outer shell gets absolutely frozen, which radiates directly into the inner foil-looking shell that then gets cold- like the inside of a lunchbox. I stuck my hand into my waist area after about 20 minutes and the jacket was cold on the INSIDE. Is this some high performance coat for joggers or skiers or something like that or does the warmth kick in at 20 or 10 degrees? I can't return it unfortunately so looking forward to wearing this jacket in the summer. On the good side it looks nice, fits small to size so get a larger size, and has cool pockets just don't get it for warmth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this jacket in black size medium for my adult daughter. She loved it and said it fit well. She is approximate 5' 7" and cannot be more then 130 lbs. I have purchased longer version of heavenly jacket and love it. I feel these jackets it has a more feminine flattering fit. I think it will keep her warm while looking good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this jacket. Fits as expected and great for spring/fall. Roomy enough for layers. The thumb holes are nice and the collar is soft and warm.

It has nice fabric and seems like it will be warm without having bulk. I have not yet had enough cold weather to fully test this. My only complaint is that the sleeve opening at the shoulder is a little too tight.
