Cologne Collection Set (Nordstrom Exclusive) $115 Value

This could easily be my signature scent. Absolutely LOVE this. I rarely strayed from sweet vanillas or Miss Dior, but I really enjoy clean, masculine scents when they aren't Heavy or old smelling. I like the sig men's Abercromie & Fitch scent. Not as much as this though!! This smells like 2012-2013's "Autumn Day" candle from Bath & Body Works. Smells just like its name. The wood smells of light cedar, some earthy sage (maybe sweet moss), fall trees, and faint sweetness of sea air. A perfect balace. Wearable anywhere, anyplace, any age. I think any gender. Smells like a mix of crisp autumn east coast air & summer sweet sea salt air. I bought this blindly & could bathe in it!! It's light, clean, feminine & masculine, warm & cool, not obviously sexy. Unfortunately it lasts on my skin shorter than a Bath & Body Works splash, maybe 30 minutes with 5 sprays. It lasts about an hour on my clothes and begins to fade fast am from their. It fades on my skin by the minute, TRULY. So fast!! Maybe I'll be okay with it lasting a bit longer on my clothes & in my hair....undecided. I'm not sure if that's normal for all Jo Malone scents or just this one? Being a cologne at this price I expect a bit more longevity, 3-4 hours? I really wish this was made in a lasting form or perfume. It does go on with enough scent & strength for the lightness & freshens of the Name. Very fragrant when applied. It's a fresh clean scent. But it evaporates like rubbing alcohol leaving me wanting to respray every 30-60 minutes & this isn't inexpensive. I'm really torn over this one. I don't easily find fragrances I want to wear. It's a gorgeous, scent-a gem to find. But I can spend $12 on clean fresh scents that last longer even though they lack Wood Sage's uniqueness & perfection. Maybe I need to research Jo Malone brand to know if this is typical of all their fragrances.... Anyhow, be forewarned it is extremely quick to fade. But if reapplying & cost aren't an issue and you're one to spray your home and closet at random with costly colognes that fade FAST (I would with this if I had endless access to this), this is truly AMAZING & perfection as a fragrance. If anyone has a Dupe for this, please please share in your review! I'd (we'd) be so grateful! And JO...consider making this in a long lasting perfume?! Stellar scent. & I'm Really picky with fragrance.

First off, this is a great scent. I LOVE the smell. However, it has absolutely no staying power. As soon as it dries down, the scent completely disappears, rendering it completely impractical and unwearable. Who wants to tote around a heavy perfume bottle all day? Extremely disappointing!

I spray this on after my shower on my wrist and neck and five minutes later I can barely, barely smell it, as if it were a distant memory. My other brands of perfume are going strong the whole day. I guess it's because this is cologne and not perfume. It makes me sad, because there are so many great Jo Malone scents, but they are way too expensive for the amount of time that they last.

A dear friend gave me this scent, along with a sample of the orange blossom EDT to layer along, if desired. Although I love that the Peony & Blush Suede easily stands on its own, evoking a classy and ultra-feminine fragrance; when layered with the Orange Blossom scent, the fragrance combination is exquisite. I imagine sugar-sparkling twilight fairies to exude a similar scent: sweet, ethereal, expensive and fragile; and, wafting a hint of mystery and magic. I have several different scents from Jo Malone's line and there's a reason I savor her products: none wear too heavy or too faint. They never go on oily, nor have I ever had an allergic reaction to them, unlike other cosmetics on the market. And, they never stain my clothes. Further, the packaging is elegant and simple. The line's bottles and jars aren't gaudy or obnoxiously styled; they blend tastefully with their new home's surroundings on my vanity.

This perfume smells wonderful, however like another reviewer noted, it doesn't last at all. I even used an unscented lotion and sprayed the perfume on top of it, and that didn't help it to last at all. Just something to think about, because this perfume is too expensive not to have a lasting scent.
