toe leather wears out from casual walking
Happy with fit and comfort and other Cole Haan shoes. But unless you only wear these Loafers indoors or on wood decks, don't buy them. Casual walk around my city block (sidewalks) resulted in worn off finish to exposed leather on the front toes of each shoe. I applied finish the first time. Came right off after next walk.
