Tabby 26 Leather Shoulder Bag

Love this bag! Its so versatile and roomy. Bought it in the color chalk and it goes with almost everything. It’s so elegant, sturdy and a well made piece all around. Definitely recommend. Only advice I would give for this specific color , and it has nothing to do with this specific brand or model, is that try to steer away from black or dark tops that can transfer color if used on the shoulder on rubbing against fabric. This is genuine leather and a light color and genuine leather can sometimes absorb a hint if it or show any sign of dirt more than other colors. Buy a leather care kit just in case just to maintain it’s crispiness. This is not a cheap bag after all :) just a suggestion.

So the first time I ordered this bag it came completely all undone, the straps no foam and no filling on the inside. It also had an imperfection on the front hardware. Maybe it was a return idk but I still want my bag brand new for this price. A really nice customer service rep did an exchange for me (I got lucky it was in stock) and I assume wrote a note on the order because the bag came completely brand new and with a dust bag. The first one did not have a dust bag. I am satisfied with the second order but I don’t understand how the orders came completely different.

Have this in black and decided to purchase the chalk color. It is even more beautiful and perfect for Spring and Summer. Not so expensive that I have to worry about using it as an everyday bag. Leather is lovely and as I’m switching to smaller bags this works great for my essentials! Also the quality just about equals that of my Chloe satchel bags at a much lower price. Win win for me!! Also purchased the Coach chalk card case to match as this is a smaller bag. Love that too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bag itself is very high quality. I like that it comes with a crossbody and shoulder strap. The dust bag is too tight though. The bag fits in fine, but the dust bag is so small that it’s a struggle to fit in the shoulder and crossbody strap. It’s hard to close it up. I wish the dust bag for the tabby 26 was at least half bigger than its current size (like the Brooklyn 28’s dust bag, as the Brooklyn 28 goes into its dust bag very easily). I also wish the tabby 26’s magnetic closure was like the Brooklyn 28’s (inside or in between the leather). With the tabby 26, I always need to find the magnetic alignment, otherwise, it won’t fully close the bag and it will hit the magnet again and again (making a clashing noise) as i walk. The space for the compartments inside are appropriate for the size of the bag. I like that the bag has curved and not pointy edges. Overall good bag, but I just wish it had a better (and effortless) magnetic closure and a bigger dust bag.
