Details & care

Upgraded with more grip and a better fit, this waterproof running shoe takes you over rocky trails and uneven terrain on cushioning engineered for a smooth, stable ride.

Perfect for: Trail runners looking for plush cushioning and reliable stability for navigating moderate terrain in a waterproof shoe with a dynamic, locked-in fit.

Upper: Lockdown lacing, engineered padding and redesigned heel provide a more inclusive, comfortable fit. Protective, breathable, abrasion-resistant mesh stands up to trail debris and rough conditions. Waterproof protection keeps rain, puddles and splashes at bay.

Midsole Drop: 8mm. Classified as a mid-drop measurement, it pushes your foot forward to support a more natural mid/forefoot strike.

Lower: Helion™ superfoam absorbs shock for consistent comfort on changing surfaces. CloudTec Phase® construction rolls each stride forward to transform heel strikes into toe-offs for distraction-free movement. Missiongrip™ rubber sole features improved lug geometries for stabilized, reliable traction on wet and dry surfaces.

  • Waterproof: protects against rain, puddles and slush to keep feet dry in wet conditions
  • Trail: provides superior stability and traction on hills, uneven surfaces and changing terrain
  • Cushioning: absorbs impact and distributes weight for consistent, buoyant comfort under each step
  • Lace-up style
  • Removable, cushioned insole allows for custom orthotics
  • Helion superfoam cushioning delivers lightweight energy return even in hot and cold temperatures
  • CloudTec Phase lightweight sole collapses in sequence for soft, gentle heel-to-toe transitions
  • Missiongrip multidirectional lugs in the tread maintain superior grip on changing terrain

great waterproof travel option

I bought these for a winter trip to London. Most days I walked +20k steps in them and they kept my feet dry and comfortable. I didn’t slip at all despite lots of rain. I found them to be slightly narrow compared to my other On shoes.

Must buy for PNW walking

I came in looking for walking shoes and came out with these. They are perfect for walking in rainy Seattle days, and I never slip due to the grip coverage. Great shoes even for non-runners!

Heavenly Comfort

This is my first time purchasing On Cloud brand. Am so glad I did. It has amazing cushion - it is literally as if your walking on cloud. Your feet will thank you. The only negative is the price tag. Other than that if you feet issues or need extra padding do yourself a favor and buy this tennis shoes. Thank you On Cloud - just wished the price would be a tad lower rather than $190.00 before tax wish price point would be around )159.00

Overall great shoe!

These shoes are AMAZING!! Bought these from the Anniversary Sale to try out for my trip to Yosemite. I started out wearing them on my daily walks, they are so comfortable especially on my heels, where I need the most support. Then I used them in Yosemite after a very long 6 mile hike when my feet were in bad shape and it was like walking on clouds. I did a couple of smaller hikes with them and they were great. No slipping, no rocks getting stuck at bottom, no hurting. I didn’t check if they are waterproof. My normal size is 7 but got 7.5. My best purchase of the Sale. I’m a fan, will be getting another pair for my daughter when her size becomes available.

great hiking shoes

Great Shoes for Hiking. I usually wear Narrow, but shoemakers rarely make narrow anymore - these fit well and are very comfortable. I like that the back of the shoe is not high and doesn’t bother my Achilles tendon. I will be trying them out at Glacier National Park so the waterproofing will get a test. So far with local hiking, I am very pleased.

Great Design

Extremely comfortable, pebbles do not get stuck in these shoes, they propel the body forward, easy to slip on.
