Less support in front of shoe
I ordered 6 pair of ON sneakers to compare them. My feet are problematic because I have very high arches, wide feet and Morton’s Neuroma. So, I need wide shoes, room in the toe box, and arch support. I ordered my usual size, 10W.
First of all, these shoes are VERY light. Love that. They are very easy to get on compared to several other pairs of ON shoes I tried. The wide width works very well for me and there is ample toe box room. I like that the shoe soles flare out a bit at the front and back. That means more stability for me. I need that additional stability when there is a little height to the sole.
The biggest problem with these for me was the feeling that there was not enough support under the front of the shoe where the balls of the feet are. That’s essential for me.
So, I will be returning this model too because one of the other ON shoes meets all my needs (Cloudsurfer Next).

W does NOT= wide, W=women's
I love this shoe for the wide toe box and great support. I contacted ON and they confirmed the W stands for women's, not wide as many reviews talk about. Yes, it is wide in the toe box but allows your toes to spread when running/walking which I love. the sole is wide which gives great stability. Best shoe ever!

WIDE WIDTH!
Love these shoes, I have wide width feet in between a size 9 or 9.5 but if the shoe runs narrow I do size up to a 10… this in fact wide width not sure why some of the reviews say w is for woman’s the shoe box clearly says wide width as for the shoe does feel wide width since I was able to order my true size instead of ordering the 10. Not sure if they’re comfortable for the long run but they fit so perfect and look so cute! So glad I ordered them.
