This rear-facing car seat offers ergonomic comfort and modern safety technology so your baby travels safely and securely from the very first ride.

Why parents will love it: The One-Click Rigid LATCH system lets you install the car seat quickly while providing confidence that it is secure. The Anti-Rebound Base with load leg absorbs energy for a smoother ride and reduces crash forces, while the SensorSafe™ technology provides an additional layer of protection by keeping you connected to your baby’s well-being. Alternate belt guides allows for safe, secure installation without the base, making it perfect for quick commutes and taxi rides. Fabrics are machine washable and made with naturally flame-resistant materials that meet federal safety standards—without added chemical treatments.

Why kids will love it: The 12-position height-adjustable headrest and integrated harness ensure a snug fit that accommodates your child as they grow. An included infant insert provides a perfect fit and support for newborns from 4 to 11 lb. An ergonomic design keeps baby comfortable and supports natural posture, while the 45% flatter recline adjusts the backrest and extends the leg rest. Perforated shell and mesh fabrics allow for all-around ventilation to keep your child cool. UPF 50+ adjustable canopy offers full coverage and protection from sun rays.

Safety features: This car seat is fully compliant with new FMVSS 213 side- and front-impact safety standards for reliable protection and peace of mind. Linear Side-Impact Protection (L.S.P.), working with the Energy-Absorbing Shell, disperses crash forces away from your child. Anti-Rebound Base with Load Leg absorbs energy and helps reduce crash forces on your child.
SensorSafe alerts you when child unbuckles the chest clip while still in motion, if child is seated for a prolonged period of time, if the temperature gets too hot or cold, or if child is still buckled in the car seat after you leave the vehicle. It also notifies emergency contacts if no action is taken, sharing your location.

Harness: Easy buckle-in pads keep the harness buckle forward, making it easier to place your child in the seat and secure them.

Order never arrived

I ordered this a few weeks ago along with 2 other items. They never arrived. But the got sent back to the warehouse. I was also promised my shipment of items would arrive within a few days. Which it did not even arrive at all and was sent a lot later than what I was told at the Nordstrom store I went to. I called to ask for a cancellation and was told that I have to wait until they process my refund for 12 days followed by another 5 days for it to appear in my bank account. Leading me to have to wait even longer to purchase these items for my infant. Very disappointed with how this turned out.

hard to unlatch

I was so excited about this car seat and it’s recline but the button you need to squeeze to release the car seat from the base is so hard to squeeze- my husband has to do it each time. Very frustrating, and baby doesn’t much care for the recline feature.

High quality

Loved the high quality of material, almond beige is a gorgeous color! Comfort 10/10 As soon as I place baby in car seat he does not cry and falls asleep. Recline gives it even more of a comfort! Super easy to install.

Cybex cloud G Pro

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Cybex Cloud G Pro infant car seat in the color Stone Grey as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This is my first Cybex car seat, and when I opened the box, I was immediately impressed. The Stone Grey color is modern and sleek, and the seat itself has a very premium feel—soft, cushioned fabrics, and a sturdy, well-built frame. The canopy is large and provides great coverage, and the overall design looks both stylish and practical. It’s also nice that it is GREENGUARD Gold certified for lower chemical emissions. Which i try to always look for! Some pros that I came across for this infant car seat are: • This car seat has more safety features than the other car seats I own. One standout is the load leg, which is designed to absorb crash forces and reduce impact. • It adapts to any Cybex stroller and many other stroller brands! I own a Cybex stroller but mainly use it for my toddler, and I never purchased an infant seat for it. I was very pleased with how easily this car seat attaches without any issues. • Installation was very easy and quick. Compared to my other infant car seat, the straps on the Cybex are much easier to adjust and fix. This was a huge relief because my other car seats feel like a workout to adjust! • The recline feature when used on a stroller is a big bonus. It allows baby to lie in a more comfortable, extended position during walks—something my other infant car seats didn’t offer. Some cons that I came across are: • This infant car seat is on the heavier side. Again, comparing it to my other car seats, I feel this one is a bit bulkier/heavier. • Because of the extra safety features and sturdy build, the footprint can feel slightly larger in smaller vehicles. • The premium materials are great, but they can make the seat run a bit warmer, especially during longer outings or in hot weather. Overall, I’m pretty impressed with the Cybex Cloud G Pro infant car seat so far. The safety features, easy installation, stroller compatibility, and comfort-focused design really stood out to me. Even though it’s a bit heavier and bulkier than my Nuna, I feel the trade-off is worth it for the added security and convenience. It’s a high-quality, thoughtfully designed seat that gives me a lot of peace of mind when traveling with my little one.

Beautiful and Cozy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel, for allowing me to test and review the Cybex Cloud G Pro car seat. The first thing I noticed is how luxurious the seat looks and feels. I love that it is well cushioned, and still incredibly safe! There are some fantastic features that are second to none. I am especially impressed by the rigid brace bar, and the smart clip. The app was easy to set up and use, and it provides peace of mind when my daughter is in her seat. The app will alert if your device is too far away from the car seat, when the chest clip is buckled. Other alerts include a notification if the car temperature is too hot or too cold, or if the baby has been in the car seat too long. My only real frustration with the Cybex is the weight. It is quite heavy, especially the base. It is the heaviest base I've used. The benefit, of such a heavy base, is the safety and security it provides, so I still feel this system deserves 5 stars. The seat weight would not be as much of a problem if you have a compatible stroller, so I will be getting one in the future. I think it will make a big difference. The base installs quickly and does not wiggle around. This thing is sturdy! The seat then clicks right in. I had a little trouble lifting the seat out, but once I got the hang of it, it's no trouble. I love how the seat can be adjusted to lay nearly flat, when not in the car. This will be amazing when I get the stroller! All in all, the Cybex Cloud G Pro is a great car seat system, and I will definitely recommend it to others.
