PLEASANTLY SURPRISED
I have rosacea and limited on products for my face and scalp. I received the custom-repair serum as a gift from Nordstrom and stared at the box for two weeks before I had the nerve to try it. It works with no outbreak! Such a pleasant surprise. I ordered another bottle when the first was emptied. My face feels great and some of the long-lasting rosacea bumps have disappeared.

Too many silicones
This serum has so many silicones as their major ingredients that it made my face break out and it also dried out my skin. I am trying to stay away from silicones but it seems like every cosmetic company is using this as a major ingredient. Even my favorite Clinique, sigh. A silicon act likes a sealant on my face. It does not allow it to breath nor does it allow for all these wonderful ingredients to soak in. No thank you!

Does it all!
I'm new to the Clinique skincare line, having used Lancome's line (Visionnaire and Renergie Lift) for a few years with great success. But I wanted to try this new serum that claims it pretty much does "everything" in one product as opposed to using multiple serums to cover all the bases (firmness, wrinkles, dark spots, etc.). The Clinique rep explained that Smart Custom-repair Serum cannot be used around the delicate eye area, nor does Clinique make an "eye area serum," so she said I could continue using my Lancome's Visionnaire there. After using Custom Smart morning and night for one week all over my face, I can already see fading of two troublesome areas (a large dark spot and a broken capillary spot that nothing else has improved). And the rest of my face looks smooth and lovely. It's so convenient to be able to apply ONE serum that truly does EVERYTHING!!! I'm currently using up the rest of my Lancome moisturizers but plan to try Clinique's products next, based on the success of the Smart Custom Repair serum.

Clinique Smart Serum
Clinique Smart Serum is richer, somewhat heavier and more intense than Laser Focus Serum, and with a smooth finish on my skin. Perfect for when my skin is drier and needs a boost, whether heat or cold, followed with moisturizer for added hydration. Results in smooth, soft, clear skin, reduced lines and redness. A good option from Laser Focus.

Skin Serum
My skin is very sensitive to chemicals, so I am careful when trying any new product (Apply it to wrist first). This serum is very light
and easy to spread. It did not cause any irritation. After a few days, I began to notice a fading of dark spots and red areas on my face.
I'm very pleased with the overall feel and effects of this serum.

Seems to be working
I do like the silky feel of this and it does quickly absorb into my skin. I do not recommend using it twice a day as it seems to be working well for cell turnover and thus I get some sensitive patches. Once a day or every other seems to be working for me but I also have sensitive skin.

Outstanding Serum
This serum did exactly what it promised within 1-3 days. My skin was smoother, less splotchy, and definitely firmer. This is the first serum I have ever used that produced results after overnight use.
