What it is: A sheer, broad-spectrum UVA/UVB daily sunscreen with a lightweight formula that helps wick away perspiration and absorbs excess oil.
What it does: Formulated without chemical sunscreens, this daily face protector is perfect alone or as an invisible makeup primer. It's appropriate for the eye area and sensitive skin.
How to use: Apply to clean skin after using your 3-Step System. Using your fingertips, apply to cheeks, forehead, nose and chin, then blend. Apply after all treatment products and before your makeup. Remove with your favorite makeup remover.

Fabulous product!
I have used City Block for years, it gives a great sheer coverage, and can be used instead of a foundation (paired with a concealer), as well as SPF protection. Highly recommended, especially as it is one of the few products available that does not have an chemical sunscreen.

SPF25 is oily
I tried this product after Clinique discontinued the Super City Block SPF40 which I loved and have been using for a long time. I am sorry to say that contrary to the description that this is oil-free, I found the SPF25 oily. The moment I opened the tube, oil oozed out and I saw the oil sheen on my face. Was still oily when I tried the second time.

Not so great
I found this sunscreen to be greasy and it adds a white-ish tint. I'm Indian and have a medium complexion and I found this to not look good on my skin tone. I switched to Shiseido instead and was much happier

Great for melasma
I switched from Dermalogica to Clinique when I decided to go with a mineral sunscreen. I like this a lot more because (1) it's cheaper, and (2) it provides some coverage for my melasma. When you shell out big bucks for an expensive face cream you tend to use much less than you should, and with melasma you really can't skimp on sunscreen. With this stuff, I tend to use a lot more because it didn't cost an arm and a leg, and I know that putting a lot on isn't going to make me break out. I have oily, acne prone skin and it's hard to find a good sunscreen that doesn't make me break out. It says it's just a sunscreen, but really you can use this alone without getting dry skin.

Great non-chemical sunscreen
This is a great lightweight sunscreen. I use it as a tinted daily moisturizer; it works well as a face primer in addition to sun protection. Since the active ingredients are physical, it's very non-irritating and can be used on the eyelids as well. A real workhorse in my rotation.

Best Face Sunscreen
This is my absolute favorite face sunscreen! I've been using it for several years now and always go back to it. It has a nice neutral tint to it and it doesn't leave my face feeling oily. Great for sensitive and/or oily skin!

Just OK
I bought this because I wanted some sun protection and I like this about the product. The description states no color but it's brown and did darken my face more than I wanted. My face and neck were two different colors. I'll still use it but have to lessen the amount of foundation.
