What it does: Clinique Chubby Stick Intense is loaded with mango and shea butters to leave your lips comfortably soft and smooth and brilliantly shaded.
How to use: Apply directly to your lips. For subtle definition, outline your lips first, then fill in with natural-looking color. It never needs sharpening. Simply twist up to reveal more lip color balm.

Balm, lipstick, all in one!
I've always been a fan of the regular chubby sticks but these are even better, so much more hydrating, my lips do not dry out using these. Just 2 swipes and I'm good to go! What makes these great is they're like a hybrid of anything and everything I could want in a lip color product: they're not exactly a gloss or give the 'wet look' of a gloss, at the same time not as pigmented as a lipstick and yet have (almost) the moisturizing ability of a tinted lip balm. In other words - perfect for a generous splash of color but without being as obvious or as drying as an actual lipstick. Longevity is pretty good, a touch-up is usually required several hours after applying, and my lips actually feel plumped up and smooth by the end of the day (thanks to the Mango and Shea butter in these), instead of the usual dried out and horrid. Does not work
Since the dramatically different lipstick formula has changed, I tried this as a substitute for lips and cheeks. The color fades to nothing. I want to be polite here, but it's insulting when a company offers to help find an "alternative." I have yet to find a suitable alternative to products that have been changed or discontinued. Please don't do this long-time customers.

Easy to apply color
I recently purchased this in Curviest Caramel. Keep in mind these "intense" sticks are opaque, vibrant colors. Curviest Caramel is a nice natural with a slight pink tinge. It applies very smoothly and easily, like a chap stick. So if you already have chapped lips, the application is great. The color lasts like a stain, but the moisturizing effects do not. I've found that after 20 minutes or so my lips feel chapped again. To combat this I'll dab just a little lip gloss on top. This keeps the moisture high without being sticky, and retains the color. Unless I find a miracle product out there, I'll definitely buy again.
Note too that while this looks like a pencil, the product twists up like a chapstick, so no sharpener is needed.

Great lip balm!
The color payoff is great! Thought it was just going to be a typical balm but was surprised. Also, kept my lips hydrated throughout the day. I picked up this caramel color and a pinky shade, roomiest rose.

Really moisturizing
Love this! Curviest Caramel is a natural looking pinkish, light coral nude. Very easy to apply and makes my lips look better. This does not accentuate lip lines or make lip lines seem to suddenly appear. A great product for a good price. I throw it into my purse and reapply without needing a mirror. Long-wearing.

Love these!
I bought these "Intense" chubby sticks in the Grandest Grape & Broadest Berry shades & love them both. The color is definitely more intense than the regular Chubby sticks, but the real plus for me is the staying power is also much improved. Even after eating & drinking I find there is still a color "stain" look on my lips. If you're already a fan of the regular Chubby Sticks I think you'll want to try these for the fact they're longer wearing color.

Great color
I bought Roomiest Rose and love the bright pop of color that says summer without being garish. Pretty and feminine, not too bright (age 55)
