Aromatics Elixir Perfume Spray

A reviewer who said this was a product reviewed by “old ladies” prompted me to write. Yes, a lot of us are in the 50 and older category, but sadly the past reviewer only looked at the age and did not read the reviews. Many of us, and I include myself, have started purchasing this product as young women. My first bottle I bought at age 20. I’m still using it almost 40years later. Do I ever use other fragrances. OF COURSE! But a bottle of this is always in stock at my home. Now, not everyone likes it for sure. But this is the only fragrance I have used (a little, please, goes a long way) that I put on in the morning before work, and still am getting compliments on in the evening. Speaks volumes to me.

Clinique's aromatics elixir has been one of my favorite cologne's since 1978. I have been stopped in elevators, outdoors and many times through the years and still do, asking what I have on...because it smells so nice. Even one of my female docs loved it...it has such a clean smell. I have spritzed it in my closet...what a nice freshener for that space. I go through it a lot too...it is still a good price point. I do layer it with the body wash in the shower and lotion or cream. It is so funny, people will say, 'I knew you were here' by the scent.

whether you use this fragrance alone or layer it for a more personal touch it will not let you down. used straight, i have been followed to find out what it is that i am wearing. every time i wear this (i mix it for a more personalized finish) i ALWAYS receive complements, men and women alike just love this scent. buy the big bottle, it will not disappoint. if you use this layered, always finish with aromatics so it will be the top note and the most prominent. my mother introduced this scent to me when i was a little girl, i fell in love with it then and i'm still in love with it (so is my husband).

I love Clinique's Aromatics Elixir and have worn it exclusively for over 25 years, pretty much since I started wearing perfume. Unfortunately, most people don't take into consideration their body chemistry is different from the next person and decide to try every new perfume on the market. So when you walk through the mall there are some decidely unusual and unpleasant concentrations of floral aromas more suited for bathroom air fresheners than perfume. Each person should try a sample and then let a third party tell them if it blends well with their chemistry before buying and dousing yourself with a scent. The Aromatics Elixir seems to have a certain capability of working WITH your unique chemistry to create a true personalized experience. This has become my signature scent for that reason. I would encourage others to try it if they like the general concept of an earthy-type perfume or have a problem finding something isn't like every other girl in the mall!
