Maui Jim
Maui Jim traces its sandy roots back to 1980, when it began selling sunglasses on Ka'anapali Beach in Lahaina, Maui. The company's revolutionary PolarizedPlus2® lens tamed intense glare and harmful UV rays, while also enhancing the island's brilliant natural colors. Maui Jim now offers more than 100 styles of polarized sunglasses, all of which provide 100% protection from UVA and UVB rays.

Maui Jim Cliff House is a winner!
I was on the hunt for new sunglasses after losing my Ray-Ban Wayfarers. I didn't know much about the Maui Jim brand but am so glad I found them! The quality definitely surpasses my Wayfarers. I always preferred plastic frames, but I couldn't pass these up. The lenses have great glare reduction, the frame is very comfortable and I love the Maui Rose tint. They also fit my smallish face, not such an easy task. I'm thrilled with my purchase. Worth the price.

Disappointed
They bent out of shape during the first wearing. Will need to go to an eyeglass shop to get adjusted

Great style, poor workmanship
I received these glasses, and a replacement pair, and both pairs had obvious stress marks on the lenses in multiple locations, obvious from both the front and back of the glasses, and while wearing and not wearing the glasses, they were in the line of sight, especially peripherally. When I contacted the manufacturer about this, I was told this is normal, and "not a problem." On the contrary. If you inspect other pairs by this brand, those markings are not there. If you inspect pairs with polarization by other brands, those are not there. To be sure it wasn't related to either pair being floor models in Nordstrom stores, I visited other retailers where the brand is sold, and inspected the exact same model and others in those stores. Same issue: stress markings in the lens, around all the edges and joints.
When spending $300 on a pair of what is assumed to be high end and high quality eyewear, there should be zero flaws. Zero stressmarks. Zero issue with the manufacturing technique. When multiple pairs are showing up with that issue, there's a flaw in manufacture, and this is "not normal."

The right ones for me!
I've been looking for a pair of aviator sunglasses for quite a while. They needed to look good, be polarized, light and comfortable. Cliff House fulfills all requirements. My only resistance to purchasing was the price. However, after trying on practically every other aviator-style sunglasses, I decided Cliff House was worth the price. I expect to wear them often and for years to come!

Love the glasses, but not the price
I really love these glasses. I have owned the same style in brown for several years & was wearing them at a baseball game last Fall, when a bat flew out of a batters hands & hit me in the head. The ER Dr said that my glasses quite possibly saved my eye. I left with 13 stitches & very scratched & bent MJ sunglasses.
I couldn’t find any glasses that I liked as well as this style, & an online search led me to the rose color at Nordstrom’s. I LOVE them even more than the eye-saving brown pair!, although it was “painful” to pay so much for another pair.

Small face
Love these sunglasses! I have a very small framed face, so it is difficult to find trendy frames that don’t look ridiculous. Although these aviators are still oversized, they fit just right. These are exactly what I’ve been looking for!

Maui Jim are the best Sunglasses
This is my third paid in the past 10 years. I few things have changed. The price went up $20, however you no longer receive a soft case. They were also packaged in a bag with a rubber band with sticker glue all over the sides. For $320, I expect better packaging with zero need to have to clean the product when I buy it brand new. This is more of a fault of Nordstrom. I also expect the same things in the package, especially with a price increase. I pay more and get less.
