Read the ingredients

This is a very expensive sunscreen. However after looking at the ingredients, I found out a lot of them are hazardous. When I contacted the company they basically blew me off. I won’t be using a chemical filled product like this.

all chemical sunscreen

The active ingredient list should be updated. The formula was changed. The new one is all chemical sunscreen. I actually like the older version better.

Not a sunscreen

I love the formula for wearing under makeup. No white cast and non greasy. BUT I am very disappointed today I didn’t wear makeup so for the first time wore just this sunscreen to my daughters 1 hour soccer game and my face got very burnt. I now have sunburnt checks forehead and nose. That’s extremely disappointing especially for the price. I recommend Elta MD UV clear if you are worried about sun protection.

eye sensitivity warning!

This is a very nice cleanser but absolutely keep it away from your eyes!!!!!!! I made the mistake twice of getting it near my eyes and didn’t understand what was happening. This completely trashed my eyes and I had to use anti-histamine eyedrops and moisturizing drops for several days each time to recover after I made the mistake of using this near my eyes. It made my eyes red, irritated, weepy-watery, itchy and dry!!

Left me feeling greasy

I had hoped to love this sunscreen, but it was a failure for me. It doesn't leave any white cast, but it also never seems to soak in. My face feels really oily after using it, and my nose and forehead get extremely shiny. Makeup slides right off. This is never a problem for me when I use my La Mer creme and other sunscreens. I even tried using this without any other moisturizer, and still got shiny right away. I see now that most of the five star reviews were incentivized, which explains a lot. Very disappointed, going back to La Roche Posay, which also has the advantage of being 1/3 the price.
