Radiant Fluid Foundation SPF 24

First off, I'm 70 and have reached the age where less is more. My skin is dry, sensitive, and I'm prone to mild rosacea flareups. Foundations that mattify, are heavy in texture, or are loaded with chemical sunscreening agents are not going to work for me. I need something that is moisturizing, flexible so that it moves with my facial expressions, luminous without being shiny, that conceals imperfections with light-scattering soft-focus technology, and that has buildable coverage for those times when my rosacea flares up. CdP's Radiant Fluid Foundation gives me exactly what I need! The light, soft-gold undertone of O20 is perfect for me. One pump's worth does my entire face and gives me a flawless complexion that lasts the whole day. When I want a more velvety look, I use a feather light dusting of CdP's loose finishing powder. Either way, with finishing powder or without, the result is sheer perfection. As for the cost, yes that's a bit hard to take, but I haven't found anything to equal the beauty and performance of this foundation. Will I repurchase? Definitely!

I love, love, love this foundation. I wasn't a fan of the concealer, but this foundation is awesome. Pros: -Super natural, life-like skin. I would say the finish is satin and it feels like NOTHING on your skin because of its liquid format. There is no powdery finish to this foundation, nor is it overly luminous to emphasize every texture on your skin. It simply is like skin. I powder my T-zone and my smile lines and I usually get shiny by early afternoon, but that did not happen with this. I looked immaculate still by the evening. -Comes in a pump! Easy to dispense! -No heavy fragrance. There is a slight scent, but you can't smell it too much. This is a big thing for me, because the La Mer foundation was so strong in scent that I hated it. -Comes in a cream format too for those who want more coverage Cons: -The price. I know, I know, I know. It's so "up there" and so ridiculous, but I haven't had a good foundation like this for a long time, even compared to Giorgio Armani or La Mer. This one really is worth it. -Narrow color range. The color selection is poor (where are the darker shades for WOC?) I have NC20 cool-yellow skin tone with olive undertones, and I bought O10. When I applied it to my face, it looked great, but was a little light around my forehead, because I have a naturally more tan forehead (NC25). After about 2 minutes though, it adjusted to my skintone and looked perfect. I know it's odd, but it did. When I looked at my hand where I had put the foundation, it looked pink! It's very odd, but it matches my face, but seems to adjust to every surface it touches. I would recommend everyone to try it out if you have a Nordstrom near you.

I have used (and loved) Cle de Peau's Refining Fluid Foundation for years and it so happened that as I was pumping the last of my foundation from my old bottle, their new Radiant Fluid Foundation was launched. I ordered my usual shade and have used it exclusively for the past week. I adore this new foundation -- it is perfection. I love the dewy finish and lightweight coverage. It makes my skin appear 100 times better than it actually is so it is well worth the expense.

I really hate to tell people they need something this expensive...but you do need it. I got a sample of it and was 100% blown away. I argued with myself for 6 months over the ridiculous price before purchasing the bottle. I cannot be without this foundation. It is radiance and youth in a bottle. I need less than a pump for my entire face, and I get compliments about my skin (not my foundation) all day. It blends into the skin like a dream and is absolutely weightless. I don't think I've ever gushed about a product this much. Well, maybe Le Volume de Chanel mascara. If you're on the fence about this foundation just do yourself a favor and get it.
