Waste of money
I bought this blender 2 months ago and it truly is the worst quality blender. It stopped working and when it did work it was pathetic. Invest your money in a higher quality blender don’t waste your money on this.

To help troubleshoot, you might try the following:
Check the power connection: Ensure the blender is firmly plugged in, and the outlet is working.
Secure the jar properly: The blender won’t operate unless the jar is correctly seated on the base.
Inspect the lid and pitcher alignment: Make sure the lid is fully closed and the pitcher is properly aligned with the base.
Overheating protection: If the motor stops mid-use, it may have overheated. Let it cool for 15–20 minutes before trying again.
Blade assembly check: Ensure the blade assembly is properly tightened and free of food debris.

Glass jar not shatter-proof
We bought this blender a couple of years ago. The glass jar is supposed to be shatter-proof. However today it fell about 3 feet to the floor and the glass shattered, with a loud noise, into many pieces! That was a shock to us. The explosive shattering was not expected. Cleaning up was difficult with large and small pieces scattered all over the dining area floor.

Expected better service
My blender has hardly been used yet the gasket seems to not tighten properly as the blender leaks. How can I get a new gasket?

Replacement gaskets are available through our authorized parts distributors: https://www.oster.com/e-replacement-parts.html You should ask them for fit, price and availability since that is information we do not have. You will just need to mention the model of your product.

I won't recommend it
If you need a blender that will blend sliced frozen fruit and plenty of liquid you'll be fine. Whole frozen strawberries? Less liquid for thicker smoothies and drinks? Maybe look at some other blenders. The smaller cup attachment is awful, pieces getting stuck, requiring me to take it off shake the contents to try to get it to thoroughly blend. In addition there are little pieces sticking out that are a pain to clean. The biggest problem I have with this blender is how often the rubber ring gets caught in the blades and ruined. I've gone through at least 6.

I hate this blender
I hate this blender. Everything at the bottom gets blended while everything else stays on the top. Unless you want pure soup, it doesn’t blend well at all. I cannot express how much I hate this blender. I am about to take it out back and smash it with a hammer to release my frustration.
