Wave 2.0 Waterproof Sneaker

I have never had luck with Clarks. I bought these to walk the pup in the rain, not a fan of sneakers, but out of the box these fit great. I usually wear a 9-9.5 narrow but took advice an ordered a 10 for sock room. They are extremely comfortable . I have a narrow foot.

I'll update this after I get two replacement pairs to compare. But this first pair had a really hard spot on the material that attaches to the tongue. Not the best structure for the tongue IMO; but this one hard spot makes 1 of the 2 shoes unwearable. Toe box is definitely smaller than my past pairs of Clarks; an 8.5 N would probably be better, but the half sizes don't appear to have a narrow option. Definitely will not be able to wear even a medium sock with them. My size is usually 8N and high arches. Arch support is nominal, but that is true with so many shoes for me and these are better than most.

I wanted a waterproof shoe, and went up a size from my normal 8 to 8.5 to be able to wear thicker socks. The shoe fit well with the socks, and looks well made. But they are too rigid. Unlike other sneakers my foot couldn't flex at all when I took a step. They felt heavy and clunky. I expected they'd be heavier than a fabric walking shoe, but I have boots that are more comfortable to walk in.

Lightweight but not comfortable for long walks. The shoe overall is stiff, the tongue hurts the tops of my feet. It is waterproof. Love Clarks but not this one.

Size 8, perfect fit. Very comfortable for a water-proof shoe, plenty of cushion and did not rub a blister the first time I wore them all day. It is somewhat stiff however does not affect the comfort.
