my favorite faux tan
i am pretty fair-skinned, so tanning beds are never a wise choice for me. i discovered this last year and have been hooked ever since. the cream is smooth and rubs in well. it immediately gives you a nice, healthy glow and doesn't turn orange, which is key! on top of all that, it smells nice -- unlike those drugstore self-tanning creams like jergen's. opt for this instead of the tanning bed -- better to moisturize your skin than fry it!

Overpriced
This product provides an unnatural color. That is the main thing I don't like about this product. It also seems to be drying to the skin. I believe I am a self-taught expert on self-tanner application and I always shave first, then exfoliate. This product still collects on toes, heels, ankles, knees - unlike some of the self-tanners w/ a moisturizing effect. The one thing I do really like about this product is that it comes in a tub, not a tube. It gives the user more control over how much to use, and also you can get all the product short of cutting open a tube when you can't squeeze out the remaining product. So, maybe if Clarins goes back to the drawing board and gets the "yelo" out, I'll buy it again!

Best out there!
I'm not a fan of self tanners always used the tanning bed but not anymore! clarins is so great. No orange, streaks or un-natural looking tan. I use this product all over even in my hair line and it looks so natural. I look better than my sister in law who fries in the tanning bed. Only draw back it smells the day after you put it on even after you wash. But the second day is the best tan and no smell! Plan using it accordingly. Smell is only noticeable to you not others. Also I'm prone to break outs and cystic acne but not after using this product. It's like a nice moisturizer. I highly recommend. seriously stop using the tanning beds and use this product. You will look healthier and be healthy too. Just need gloves and moisturizer for knuckles

Tan and Smooth Skin
I also use the Liquid Bronze for my face. I like how subtle it is. This is darker which is nice for summer. It doesn't smell that great to me, but it makes your skin feel so soft --the day after. It's pretty thick and sticky. I put it on, let it absorb, go to bed and wake up with great skin. Very natural.

Natural-looking tan
Being super pale, I've tried so many self-tanners. I've always heard good things about Clarins self-tanners. I'm so glad I tried this one! It's easy to apply and virtually mess-free being that it is a cream as opposed to a lotion or spray. I've found lotions tend to run and sprays tend to "tan" my bathroom as well as me!
Good qualities about this tanner:
1. Easy to apply
2. Natural looking
3. Fades naturally too - no weird streaks and blotches! Yay!
4. The tinted caramel color helps to see where you're applying the cream.
A Few Tips:
1. As with any self-tanner, this product will collect around your knees, elbows, ankles & feet if you don't apply sparingly in those areas, however, it scrubs off fairly easily with a little soap and a washcloth. Trust me, my feet were super tan! Oops! But, I was able to "buff" the mistake away.
2. As your tan develops, that self-tanner smell develops too. I don't believe there truly is a product that doesn't have that smell.
If you are on the fence about trying this product, I hope this helps. It really is a great self-tanner. I will be purchasing another jar when I use up the first one.
