'Duck Rain' Skimmer

Oh do I ever love these shoes! I am a mother to 4 young children (all under age 6) and so I'm constantly shuttling kids to and from the bus stop, preschool, field trips, play dates, etc. For a whole day out in the rain or the pumpkin patch or whatever I wear a tall rain boot for max protection, but for all these short trips in and out of the car or across the street to the neighbors or to check the mail or ... you get it ... I slip these awesome shoes on and I'm ready to go! In the summer I mostly live in flip-flops. These are my new winter flip flops. Super fast and easy to put on, I can wear them with or without a sock. And they look cute! I've already gotten several compliments! They fit perfectly (I'm normally an 8 and purchased an 8) but are just a little loose when I wear no socks, but they stay on my feet. The bottom sole is a bit thin, last weekend we visited an alpaca farm and when I walked over the gravel parking lot I felt the rocks through my shoes, but it wasn't painful and the shoes still look perfect. If you're looking for solid rain protection these aren't your shoes. But if you want something to slip on while running around doing a million things every fall, winter and spring day like a crazy woman (like me) these are PERFECT! I'm thinking of getting another pair in a different color. : )
