Small Faye Day Leather Shoulder Bag

Really nice leather, pretty hardware and great crossbody length. Unfortunately there was no getting used to the clasp that keeps the bag shut. I have never been more annoyed. All my stuff was held hostage inside while I am yanking down on the circle and pulling up, trying to get the flap open. It’s destructive to the bag and amazing anyone tolerates this! Sadly, had to return.

Purchased this bag and the Chloe Tess. Ended up returning the Tess as it was a little small and I hate struggling to fit everything in my bag. The Faye Day is a great size for every day and travel. Convenient outer pocket. I love everything about it! Regarding the other comment about it being impossible to open, there is a trick to it. You have to pull up, and then down. Once you get the hang of it, no problem. Too bad the sales person wasn’t up to speed on it. I got the Motty Grey with soft gold hardware and it’s a beauty! I know I will enjoy it for many years to come.

I loved the color of the bag, and the style. However, it was too small to hold all the stuff I put in it. But the worst was the clasp! Such a pain to open! I could not open it while it was hanging off my shoulder. Had to set it down and then struggled a few minutes to get it open. Sadly, I had to return it.

Bought this purse as it looked pretty, when I used it for the first time I realized what a blunder I made, it’s extremely heavy, not a bag one should travel with! I told the sales girl that I travel a lot and she said this would work great, it does not. I was even told I could not return it so I have no choice but to keep it!

The handbag is absolutely Impossible to open. The exterior magnet is so strong that even the salesman couldn’t open it after multiple tries. I could only open the bag by laying bag on its side on a table and tugging with two hands in opposite directions. Unfortunately this means that the bag is impractical and cannot be opened while standing (ie Starbucks, ordering lunch etc). It’s very pretty but I have to return it. If Chloe fixes the magnet I will buy it. But if the magnet is less strong I could see that the odd way the top handles pull on the bag could open it (others are upset with this problem. It’s not a problem for me as I use the shoulder strap). Note that many on line reviews mention the difficulty with the magnet but conclude with the optimistic observation that the bag can’t be pick pocketed. That may be true but you will not be able to get your wallet out either. Very odd.
