limited occasions to use

I really wanted to like this bag. I LOVE the horse motif. But I returned the bag. Very small. The crescent shape is not flattering hanging on the shoulder. Made of velvet. A strange choice (cheaper than leather). Impossible to set down. What would I do with it? Can't sit it on a table. Beware of any liquid or soil. Place it in my lap? Hang it on a chair? (Not secure). Beautiful but not practical and useless.
