Absolutely exquisite
This was my first designer fragrance purchase ever, and can I just say I'm in LOVE with it? Some floral fragrances can get cloying or heavy, but this one is clean, classic, and subtle. Several male friends have told me it is the kind of perfume that makes a man feel a bit weak in the knees (in a good way!). The best way I can describe the scent is like being in a beautiful rose garden in the spring after a rainstorm. The longer you wear it, the better it gets! I put some on before work, and it still smelled lovely twelve hours later! (Husband wanted extra kisses when he smelled it.) I have found my signature scent!

Airy and floaty
If you like pure florals this may be for you. I don’t like the airy feel of this. All I smell is roses and I like something with more sweetness and substance like a gourmand. But Chloe EDP is floral top note and floral middle note.

Geminis Need This...
As a Gemini, I find I wear a range fragrances alone or together, depending on the season, day, mood...maybe more so than others! (Only partly kidding!) I’ve tended towards Tom Ford Lavender, Champaca, Cafe Rose...then have a staple of Jo Malone (BlackBerry and Bay, Myrrh and Tonka, and Orange Bitters), and Diptyque ...then there is Chanel No 5... across all brands, it’s a back and forth between dark and sensuous scents and the more vibrant, citrusy fragrances. Or both! Across all brands, I keep a rose fragrance of some sort. All this to say - this Chloe fragrance is the PERFECT blend of ALL of these - it’s citrusy (definitely), but has a depth to it, some floral (rose) notes, and less of a powdery / classic finish than the Chloe Parfum that’s been so highly rated. Christmas gift!
So grateful for the assistance provided (and samples given). Catherine took the time to share with me the differences between the perfumes I was interested in purchasing for my daughter. She also reminded me of my two triple bonus shopping days I have left to use! A great start to holiday shopping at Short Hills Nordstrom!
