Fragrance story: The fragrance sheds light on the hidden treasures of nature. This is the philosophy behind Quentin Bisch's Cedrus fragrance, revealing the unexplored facets of cedar. This unique Atelier des Fleurs by Chloé fragrance reveals an irresistible metamorphosis of cedar wood, as dry notes fade into tender, supple notes. This highly distinctive style has turned Cedrus into one of the most iconic creations of the Atelier des Fleurs collection. Two perfumers have joined forces to create a powerful reinterpretation of Cedrus: Quentin Bisch and Louise Turner merged their creative talents to compose Cedrus Intense, an enriched and intensified version of the original perfume. This eau de parfum for women opens with vibrant notes of bergamot and crushed leaves, Cedrus Intense then unveils a heart of leathery rose. A trio of woody notes upends this rewritten fragrance: As smoky-toned Chinese cedar is crossed with the biting minerality of Indian sand vetiver, Australian sandalwood enters with its pure yet creamy notes.

Each of these exceptional varieties brings luminosity and absolute fluidity to this composition. Cedarwood expresses itself with unprecedented intensity. Emphasized, strengthened, and sublimated, this precious essence reaches whole new heights. Cedrus Intense is a symphony of majestic, vibrant imperial woods, contrasting with a slightly bitter green opening and an extremely opulent amber base. Louise Turner and Quentin Bisch Cedrus Intense is presented in the emblematic Atelier des Fleurs bottle, featuring an undulating glass silhouette evocative of the house's beloved sunray pleating and a sand-colored cap. A pure expression of timeless elegance by Chloé.

beautiful scent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This perfume is so pretty and fresh without being overpowering. It feels really elegant but still light enough for everyday wear. I get compliments every time I wear it, and the scent lasts nicely throughout the day. Definitely one of my new favorites

Not for me
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't not care for this scent. The scent is musky and woody. Great sample size for carrying around in a purse. Doesn't take much so it would last a while. But I won't be using this. I prefer more floral scenes.

Feminine
Got a sample of this. To me it smells clean, sweet, floral and subtle. It’s quite unique as there’s no other fragrance I can compare it with. It’s also long lasting and the smell lingered on till the evening. Perfume and scent is so individual so really important to try before you buy. I don’t think I will purchase this though as it’s too expensive but will be happy to wear.

Amazing, long-lasting perfume

Not my Favorite
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not my favorite scent. Very floral, but in an elementary sort of way. Not a mature floral at all. Just not for me. It also had a clean scent to it that I disliked.

Spa in a bottle!
I owned and sold Cedrus EDP twice and regret it after each time. Why? because it only lasted less than an hour for me. But man, it took me to state of mental calmness! This time around I'm keeping this Cedrus Intense as it has lasted almost 6 hours on my skin. This and the EDP are woody and aromatic. They are not loud. They're quiet elegance. Between the two, the EDP is fresher and acts more like an Eau Fraiche/cologne...which I prefer. Do I regret getting the Intense? No! In fact, I'm on the lookout for when I see a good price on the EDP and get me a 5 oz bottle...again. I can bathe myself in these two :)
