Austin Bootie (Women)

I love the look of this boot and it looks exactly as pictured. However the strap around the ankle prevented me from getting my foot into the boot. Once my foot was in they were pretty comfortable. I had to use a shoe horn, but even then it was a struggle. Unless you have a very thin foot don't waste your time.

I ordered these during the Anniversary sale and when they arrived the first thing I noticed when I opened the box was the smell. Not a bad smel, but a true leather smell. They smelled exactly like my Tecovas so I knew the leather was good quality. I had no problems getting them on even though there is no zipper. I have a normal width foot. I found them to run very true to size and I can even wear them with a thin to medium size sock as I do have some room in them when I walk. The leather is very soft and flexible. I ordered them in both colors and I’m very happy I did. They are very comfortable and look great with jeans!

This is a very cute shoe. I ususally wear a 7 1/2 in shoes but with a sock, I went with an 8. I bought the black and the style is cute. A little worn look with easy on and off but not so loose that I’d be clopping along. My foot runs regular to narrow and I feel there is plenty of room in the toe box but not so much that it doesn’t feel like it fits. I look forward to wearing with jeans and casual dresses in the Fall.
